2025 RACE INFORMATION

On Sunday September 7, 2025, the City of Omaha will host the new co-ed format of the Midwest Half Marathon Series for the 2025 racing season. Each event will offer a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and our popular Kids One Mile Fun Run for the entire family. The event will start and finish in front of the famous Charles Schwab Field, home of the College Baseball World Series in downtown Omaha.

Returning for 2025: Each Half Marathon, 10K, 5K event produced by Premier Event Management in conjunction with the communities of Council Bluffs, Iowa & Omaha Nebraska. Our Kids One Mile Fun Run will start and finish from our main finish line structure making the Kids event something extra special on race morning. Children from ages 5 to 15 are encouraged to join us on race morning to begin a lifestyle change at our Kids One Mile Fun Run!

Awards

The top three overall male and female race winners will receive either a Gold, Silver and Bronze award medal. The top three male and female finishers in their respective age groups will also be awarded medals. Age Groups are 14 and under and move up from that point in 5-year increments to 80+.

A copy of your drivers license or another form of identification is required. Also, in order to pick up a packet for a friend or family member you must have a copy of the participant’s driver’s license that you are trying to secure!

- 5:30am – 7:20am – Packet Pick up
- 6:00am to 7:25am – Gear Check – Near the Starting Line
- 7:25am – National Anthem
- 7:30am – Omaha Half Marathon Start
- 7:30am – Omaha 5K Start
- 9:15am – Awards Ceremony – 5K Top 3 Overall Awards Presented on Stage (All Age Group awards given out in awards tent on site)
- 10:00am – Omaha KidsFit One Mile Fun Run
- 10:00am – Awards Ceremony – 10K Top 3 Overall Awards Presented on Stage (All Age Group awards given out in awards tent on site)
- 10:30am – Awards Ceremony – Half Marathon Top 3 Overall Awards Presented on Stage (All Age Group awards given out in awards tent on site)
- 8:30am to 12:00pm – Omaha Half Marathon Post Event Party!

Participants will receive a commemorative 2025 event race t-shirt, draw string bag, and a wonderful 2025 3.5" Finish Medal when you get to our finish line for each event. Our overall top 3 winners in both our men's and women's divisions will receive our 4.0" medals near our finish line.

Each Age Group top three winners will receive our 4″ medal of either Gold, Silver or Bronze color depending on the place in each age group. (*Please Note: Awards presented at this event are for the top 3 male and top three female competitors in each 5 year age group for each event.)
