2024 Update

On Sunday May 19, 2024, the Hy-Vee Kansas City Half Marathon Series event will offer a new co-ed format for the 2024 racing season. Each event will offer a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and our popular KidsFit One Mile fun run for the entire family. Just 10 miles from downtown Kansas City, the event will start and finish from Corporate Woods in Overland Park, Kansas.

Each Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K produced by Premier Event Management in conjunction with Hy-Vee will again offer an exciting youth event in each market. The Hy-Vee KidsFit One Mile Fun Run will start and finish from our main finish line structure making the KidsFit event something extra special on race morning. Children from ages 5 to 15 are encouraged to join mom and/or dad on race morning to begin a life long lifestyle change at the Hy-Vee KidsFit One Mile Fun Run!

2024 RACE INFORMATION

The top three male and female overall finishers will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze award medals. The top three in each age group will also be awarded our Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for their placement in their respective age groups. Age Groups are 14 and under and move up from that point in 5 year increments to 80+.

A copy of your drivers license or another form of identification is required. Also, in order to pick up a packet for a friend or family member you must have a copy of the participant’s driver’s license that you are trying to secure!

Participants will receive a commemorative 2024 event race t-shirt, draw string bag, and a wonderful 2024 3.5" Finish Medal when you get to our finish line for each event. Our overall top 3 winners in both our men's and women's divisions will receive our 4.0" medals near our finish line.

Each Age Group top three winners will receive our 4″ medal of either Gold, Silver or Bronze color depending on the place in each age group. (*Please Note: Awards presented at this event are for the top 3 male and top three female competitors in each 5 year age group for each event.)
