2025 RACE INFORMATION

On Sunday May 18, 2025, the Midwest Greater Kansas City Half Marathon Series event will be back for the 2025 racing season. Each event will offer a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and our popular Kids One Mile fun run for the entire family. Just 10 miles from downtown Kansas City, the event will start and finish from The Corporate Woods Office Park in Overland Park, Kansas.

Our Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K produced by Premier Event Management will be in conjunction Corporate Woods which will once again offer an exciting host location for this event. Our Kids One Mile Fun Run will start and finish from our main finish line structure making the Kids event something extra special on race morning. Children from ages 5 to 15 are encouraged to join us on race morning to begin a lifestyle change at our Kids One Mile Fun Run!

Awards

The top three male and female overall finishers will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze award medals. The top three in each age group will also be awarded our Gold, Silver and Bronze medals for their placement in their respective age groups. Age Groups are 14 and under and move up from that point in 5 year increments to 80+.

A copy of your drivers license or another form of identification is required. Also, in order to pick up a packet for a friend or family member you must have a copy of the participant’s driver’s license that you are trying to secure!

6:00am – 7:10am Packet Pick up at Race Site
6:30am to 7:25am – Gear Check – Near the Starting Line
7:25am – National Anthem
7:30am – Half Marathon and 10K Start
7:30am – Greater Kansas City 5K Start
10:00am – KidsFit One Mile Fun Run Top 3 Awards Presented
9:15am – 5K Top 3 Awards Presented (Age group awards given at award tent)
10:00am – 10K Top 3 Awards Presented (Age group awards given at award tent)
10:30am – Half Marathon Awards Presented (Age group awards given at award tent)

Stuff We All Get!

Participants will receive a commemorative 2025 event race t-shirt, draw string bag, and a wonderful 2025 3.5" Finish Medal when you get to our finish line for each event. Our overall top 3 winners in both our men's and women's divisions will receive our 4.0" medals near our finish line.

Each Age Group top three winners will receive our 4″ medal of either Gold, Silver or Bronze color depending on the place in each age group. (*Please Note: Awards presented at this event are for the top 3 male and top three female competitors in each 5 year age group for each event.)
